Project Title: Hiring of boats, divers and diving equipment for laying of submarine cable between Eve Island and Round Island

Eligibility: Local service providers only.

Scope: Quotations for rates in order to assist the Public Utilities Corporation (PUC) with the laying of submarine cable between Eve Island and Round Island is being sought as follows:

• Lot 1: Boats

(a) Those classified as Hire Craft for transportation of divers and diving equipment and assistance during cable installation, and

(b) small or medium size boats (mini-Mahe) for transportation of other equipment and at times workers

• Lot 2: Certified Open Water Divers with at least two to three years’ experience.
• Lot 3: Hiring of full sets of diving equipment (minimum requirement: a tank, regulator, buoyancy compensator, wetsuit, mask, snorkel, finsand a weight belt).
